The United States is set to kick off their run in the U-20 World Cup
this afternoon with a match up against Spain in Istanbul, Turkey. As
always, facing off against the Spanish side is never an easy task. The
senior squad took down Tahiti in the Confederations Cup 10-0 on
Thursday, while it was just last week that Spain was named winners of
the 2013 Under-21 European Championships.

The U.S. men’s soccer team began its busiest stretch of World Cup qualifying with victories over Jamaica on June 7 and Panama on June 11. With another win over Honduras on Tuesday night in the Salt Lake City suburbs, the Americans would put themselves in commanding position to secure passage to Brazil next summer.
