Unlike the last Confederations Cup, where the United States threw a massive wrench into proceedings,
the two favorites have advanced to the final of the 2013 Confederations Cup. World Cup and European
champions Spain will take on hosts Brazil, who have vastly improved since the appointment of new
manager Luiz Felipe Scolari.
Italy will battle world No. 1 Spain in the semifinals of the 2013 Confederations Cup on Thursday at Castelao in Fortaleza.

The United States is set to kick off their run in the U-20 World Cup

Expect Spain to change their entire team or close to it against Tahiti on Thursday afternoon. These games only served to underline Spain's status as clear favorites going into Tuesday's decider in Jerusalem, looking to defend the title they won in 2011.

Spain defeated Norway. Spain scored twice late in the second half to

Germany, meanwhile, finished in third place, after beating Russia 2-1, also on Wednesday.
